On April 1, 2005, era//404 Creative Group, Inc., assumed ownership of Hi-Tech Hosting from Hi-Tech Companies. era//404, Hi-Tech's provider of Web design and development solutions, had been slowly managing Hi-Tech Hosting for the last two years to ensure a smooth transition of services.
Changes
Clients of Hi-Tech hosting will notice only two differences from Hi-Tech Hosting.
1. All billing will be handled through era//404.
2. All clients will be hosted on Quad-Xenon servers to provide roughly 10x the speed of previous hosting. And because we appreciate your patience with the migration, we are upgrading your account to take advantage of the faster servers at no added cost to you.
Migration
It is our intent, as we migrate your sites in the coming weeks, that there will be no downtime. If we suspect that downtime will be incurred on your account, we will issue an email to the hosting accountholder to inform them of the date and time.
Users should also download/save any mail that is currently stored on Hi-Tech Hosting's servers to their local machines. Mailboxes from the existing servers will be removed two weeks after the migration is complete.
